What is lipoma and when you should opt for lipoma removal?

  • You should not do heavy exercises till the time you get recovered.

  • Do not drink or consume alcohol for few days prior and after the surgery.
  • Take only the prescribed painkiller if you are feeling any kind of discomfort.
  • You can apply ice packs to decrease the swelling around the treated region.

Is there an alternative to the lipoma removal surgery for treating lipoma?

Liposuction method is a good option for lipoma removal if the lipoma is bigger in size or they are multiple in numbers. Some doctors’ use Medicated injection for a non-invasive removal but their efficacy is yet to be proved.
