The Lahori Gate in north Delhi is the main entrance to the red fort in Delhi. The Red Fort is approached through a covered street which is flanked by arcaded apartments called as Chhatta Chowk. The gate derived its name because it led to the city of Lahore, in Punjab, Pakistan. The whole gate is consists with red sandstone.
