This Live session was conducted by Dr. Prashant Yadav (M.S, M.CH), director of Dezire clinic. He answered all the questions which were asked to him during the live session. Dr. Prashant first explained about a common soft tissue tumour which is lipoma removal.
What is Lipoma?
Lipoma is a most common soft tissue tumor, it is mainly seen in region of Asia and India. It affects every person; its incidence is equal in male and female. Male affect 90 to 95 % in India as compared to female. They can be seen in any body part. The concept of removal is to remove fibrous capsule , if it is not removed it can recur . It is universal tumour and most common, mainly seen where fat cells are present. It doesn’t grow rapidly it grows slowly. If it is near nerves and surrounding blood vessel it can cause pain. Mainly seen in hand, size is less than 2-5 cm, its growth can increase slowly
How lipoma is treated?
It is treated surgically and no other treatment are available. Multiple lipoma are removed in any medical exams, they give 25 to 30 days to correct multiple lipomas,, Lipoma is very easy to remove, by making small cut. We do multiple lipomas surgery, we do external lipoma on subcutaneous region, back, abdominal, thighs , subcutaneous region
What are the risk factors of lipoma?
-Familial, genetic , hereditary, injury some studies some syndromes are cause of lipoma

Ans. If you want to leave it the its better to leave it. After 2 to 3 weeks of surgery you can start cigratte smoking
Q. Hi, what will happen after 15yrs of bdomen and flanks liposuction, I mean once we grow old?
Ans. It depends on the exercise and diet you are doing. If you do exercise and maintain your healthy diet than you are not going weight in any body parts. There are some celebrities who doesn’t gain weight and they look younger with age.

Ans. If you gain wait and you have done liposuction after certain age , around 18 yrs. age no new fat cells can develop fat cells can increase. Fat cells no cannot increase they can increase in size fat cells can enlarge and you have a normal distribution of fat. It won’t will seen immediately, all over body you can regain if u don’t follow your diet and workout after liposuction.it will be distribute all over the body the treated area fat will be less

Q. is the gynecomastia surgery blood less
Ans. It depends on surgeon, we are showing how much fat is the aspirate. In few cases bleeding is there it is not normal fat and tissue is more vascular. Advantage with us is that we use VASER If I remove gland bleeding is less, bleeding is very minimal, we can control bleeding. It also depends hoe the skin is there

Ans. Yes, surgery can be done under local anaesthesia depends on grade and your condition. Only in some patient we do general anaesthesia.

- sir can whole body be done in a single surgery? what about surgeon getting tired and affecting result also? or better to do 2 or more surgeries?
Ans. Depending on the part of body, amount of fat depending on fat limit it can be done if you are selecting major body part. We will select if it is safe during one session, if it is limited quantity of fat. You are ready to do in one session then we can do.
I will not get tired I do surgeries without break. Surgeon doesn’t tired we are trained like that, physically it is very tiring it makes muscle fatigue with VASER surgeon fatigues is reduced.it depend on patient safety

Q. sir, in which grade of gyno you do excision of skin? what if someone’s skin retraction quality is not good?
Ans. It depend on the grade higher grade has chances of ptosis.
